A image or video can be broken for many reasons and therefore it will not process correctly, you can find this if you attempt to upload an image/video and it infinitely processes. By refreshing the page you will see an error message with an error ID. Below are some reasons and examples of error codes.

Broken Video:
Below is an error message for a broken video this video has no data and therefore has no file size therefore it is not possible to process.

Fix: Your video file is corrupted is it has no data, please re-download the video from the original source and reupload this.



Unsupported File Type:
This is an example of an error message received if a image is uploaded in an unsupported file type. This will not process as we do not support this file type.

Video exceeds maximum upload dimensions:

If the size of a video exceeds 8,192 x 8,192 in pixels dimensions you will receive a processing error message. These are the maximum dimensions of videos you can upload into NowSignage.


Fix: Resize your video into the dimensions which are supported and re-upload this.
