About:

The RDM feature in NowSignage allows the following remote management functions for Samsung Tizen displays:

1. Display Reboot

2. Set on/off timers for the display

3. Adjust brightness levels

Please note - If the RDM feature is not available in your account, please contact support@nowsignage.com and we will enable this.

Compatible on: 

Samsung Tizen version 4.0 (SSSPv6) and above.

To enable this feature, please follow the guidance below:

- Once logged into your NowSignage account begin by going to the 'Apps' area of the platform:

- When you have entered the apps area, scroll down to find the Remote Device Management' app:

- Click on the app then 'Install App' to activate it:

- When you have entered the app you will then have full remote control over your screen/s.

- Tick the box of the screen or screens you wish to control and you will then be able to reboot, adjust brightness and set and on/ off timer for the screen.

- Once an action has been sent to the screen it will appear in the overview section. This will log any activity and allow you to search through that activity:

Pending means that the action has not been received by the screen yet (you may see this if your screen is running in offline mode as the commands will only be sent when the screen is online/connected to the network).

Acknowledged means that the screen has succesfully recieved the command you have sent.
