Activating notification centre app:

- Once logged into your NowSignage account begin by going to the 'Apps' area of the platform:

- When you have entered the apps area, scroll down to find the 'Notification Centre' app, click into this app and activate it:

Create a notification group

A 'notification group' is a group of screens you wish to set up email notifications for. To set this up, simply click '+Add Notification Group':

Now enter a name for your notification group, click the tick box below to activate this, then enter in the days and times you wish notifications to be enabled for:

Then you can alter a few other optional settings:

- Initial Threshold (in minutes) This defaults at 0 minutes (so will send an instant alert if left at the default, or you can set this to send a notification after a set number of minutes)

- Send subsequent notifications Tick this box if you wish to send repeat notifications if the screens continue to be offline

- Subsequent Threshold (in minutes) If you have ticked the above box, then please enter in a duration in minutes as to when you wish for subsequent notifications to be sent to you via email (this has to be set at least 5 minutes)

Once you are happy with the settings above, then scroll down and click into the box under 'Screens'. This will bring up a full list of your screens, so you can search/filter these or simply click 'select all' to apply this to all screens in your project.

Finally, enter in the email addresses you wish the notifications to be sent to within the 'Email Notification To' area. This is a free text field where you can enter in as many email addresses as you like, once you have entered each email address, press the enter key on your keyboard for the email address to be inputted correctly:

Once you are happy with this, click the 'Save' button to save the changes and now email alerts will be triggered automatically based on your configuration. 

You can go back into this at any stage to edit and make changes. It's also possible to create multiple notification groups, for example, you may have various screens across different sites/countries, so you can set up multiple groups to only send the email alerts to the relevant people.
