The "NowSignage for Websites" widget is a powerful tool that allows any website owner to place great customer comments and breaking news articles on their website and moderates any content that is to appear.

In order to keep your website loading fast, we leverage every function of your web browser and our cloud-based platform to load as quickly and minimally as possible.

To ensure that we don't slow down how long your website takes to initially load, we provide our embed script with a tag called "async". By placing this keyword on our code, we ask the web browser to load this in parallel to all the other parts of your website that are being loaded.

Without this keyword, your web browser would pause rendering your webpage until our code was downloaded and ran.

Once we've been cleared to load by your web browser, we make two asynchronous requests; one for the configuration of the "NowSignage for Websites" widget, and another for the social media content that we'll display. Typically, we respond with data in around 40-60 miliseconds - about the same time as you'd see one still frame of a movie.

We'll then draw any content into the web page. By now, usually, the web page has loaded and we're filling in the content into a placeholder that we've loaded onto the site.

While we can guarantee that we've performed many critical steps to ensure your page is loaded as fast as we can, these performance boosts are only available for those using our official NowSignage for Websites Javascript widget.

If you have a third-party integration where we're only providing data, we'd refer you to your website development company to ask them to provide the same quality that you'd see with our own integration.
